        I saw a few of the guys from the building out about on my way home.  They were just standing there, watching me.  I wonder if the boss has gotten them to watch over me or something.  I have been neglecting my case so I’m sure that must be it.  I can still hear the hissing though, in the shadows when I’m not looking.

My wife still thinks I’m going crazy.

        I got out of bed earlier.  It’s a little before 4 in the morning.  I didn’t fall asleep but something got my attention.  There was a squeaking noise coming from our bathroom.  I went to check it out but there was nothing there.  When I turned around, I saw my wife sitting up in bed, eyes wide and just staring at me.  Well, more at the bathroom.  I gently called her name but she didn’t respond.  Even as I write, she’s just sitting there in bed, staring at the open bathroom door.  I tried to wake her and get her to lie down but she won’t budge.
