The Miracle of Us

Hamid and I have been together over 34 years. Every Valentine's Day, I gift him a new poem immortalizing our love. Every poem is a celebration of our love and life together.

Nestling in our love’s embrace
Soul to soul all the rest of our days
Together forever in each new day
We choose with every breath

Heart to heart in tender, whispered kisses
Our love speaks in comfortable silences
Reveling in the hollow of the years
Love wraps us soul to soul… forever

Enduring loyalty and sustaining love
Are ours ever and forevermore
Our love is the promise fulfilled
Home is found in you and me

This is the shining miracle of us
Always and always… together
The years fly onward in each other’s arms
Soul to soul… only ever for each other
