To love

Single and loveless but hopeful and desiring......one day......to love

Are his eyes like starlight
Will they take me into the night
Would his hands show veins and bone
For my hands to fit his alone
Does his hair shine in the moonlight
Can my hair shine just as bright
Should his words touch my heart
Like his speech turns into art
Could he be strong
But doesn't show it all along
What is love would he define it
Would he break my chains of self-confinement
Being broken hearted is tough on it's own
Does he know what it's like to be alone
Is his family and friends his delight
Like I love my family to the depths and to the heights
Will our love last forever and more
To even the everlasting days galore
