Had to do a poem about this song from the Beatles. It's been on my mind.

A song lingers
One with bird and singing
Being alive
Having chills
And yet it is that time again
The flowers are in bloom
No wind in sight
Something is in the air
It's not time to be cynical
Hope lies at the door
Who knows yet what is in store

The song was actually sung by many people sense the 1950's and was even in a play called The Music Man.
It's funny how a song can spark an idea for a poem. Something always seems to come from something else, even if it's borrowed and disguised.
