They say a lot of things don't they??

They will suffice
And yet we shall see
For they are the judge and jury
Have a question who to go to
They will suffice
And yet shall they be trusted
For they also are the judge and jury
It's quite the circle
You and I
To inscribe to they
No longer a game to play, let it be a joke
For they say a lot of things
Something that will blow up in smoke
Then it is finished, they say

I agree with you...they seems to be the "norm" of society.. what they say isn't necessarily what you and I believe to be true...each of us has a unique opinion and view of life, of society, of everything... so "they" can say whatever, yet we do not have to believe it....and who are they????

Never trust “They”, Kady. They are mostly all for themselves and most of the time the smoke blown is all hot air.
The poem speaks to me of the need to remain an individual and not subscribe to the whims of those “they’s” who think they know better than most.
