We were broken
You and I
Alone and abused
And then we met

Filled with joy that
I cannot explain
But I'll try

You are truthful and pure
I am excitable and understanding
We have our adventures apart
Then laugh when we are together

Philosophy
is our topics
And reflecting
is our strength

Everyday is a new day
And we surprise each other
in new ways
I'm ever so grateful
to have met

To reach that point in life is.. near miraculous! So often happens that people go in and out of life, leaving hurt and doubt, fear and emptiness. But to find someone who walks the same path with teeny exceptions that flavour to a new adventure is more than incredibly, wonderfully wonderful!

It can happen too. Patience is a virtue, possess it if you can.. etctera! :)
