Purposeless poem part 2

Wanting to share with nothing to say.

A friend once said that “the only poem that is purposeless is the unwritten one”
And yet here I go again writing without a purpose but to just write

Writing just to write isn't easy
Although I find a refuge in writing
And even more in reading
It is still not easy
But here I am desiring to share of myself
With nothing to share

I sit here in command central
With nothing to command but to say
For all those purposeless poems out there
To me and a dear friend of mine you have purpose
Keep writing
Keep warm
Keep being beautiful

I do get this, but writing purposelessly is how all my writes begin these days. I reckon the whole "journey has to begin at the start" is true and that journey begins when ink hits paper or finger hits key, whatever way floats your boat.
The only two exceptions to these are...
1 writing about writers block, and...
2 writing about penguins when you think you're gonna write about writers block. It could be anything really but penguins works for me.
It may not be the most professional way to write, but I ain't a professional but there is no better feeling when you just start writing and it becomes something that makes sense, although judging by my back catalogue of writes you might see that im very easily pleased! 😀
I would love to take writing more seriously, but just as I think I am I realise I've thought of something funny and then its like a compulsion to go with the funny and just smile at the thought it ruined my chances of a novel prize for literature once more! 😀
