Locked Door

In a pitch black room filled with obstacles

Of whom I once was but am no more

I see a glint of light beneath a locked once opened door

In that light are dreams and hopes

That I wish to know again

Dreams of new beginnings

Blocked by signs of a dead end

Frantically I search through keys

That could open up my heart

Until I come across one labeled

                                  And it reads "new start"

everyone in life wants what they once had and sometimes when it does not come we can feel alittle blue but at the end of your poem
