Make a wish

My wishing well is full of coins

Now I can’t wish no more

Even if I could it would be

The same wish as before

 

Some might wish for lots of money

Others might wish for fame

Some might wish that they could fly

And some might wish for rain

 

But my wish isn’t anything

That anyone could see

I only wish she knew

How much she really meant to me

Seriously, this is a wonderful poem. It beautifully relays what is important... what really matters. Love. Everything else is irrelevant without it. Ask me if I'd prefer to live in paradise without love or in the ghetto with love, and I'll choose the latter, every time. Some may find that crazy.. and maybe it is ... according to the "crazy" experts? ... whoever they are. LOL
