Short...yes... and yet, hits hard to the core of our beings. I like it personally, i'm adding it in my favorites, because it's simple but so memorable.
My fav part:
I dug deeper with purpose
Until my prize was revealed
My living soul
(the reader not really aware of what you will be ending with, and it makes us think much longer after the poem is over)
good writing my friend. I love how you have a spiritual touch to your writing. respect that.
How many times we open our eyes and never truly open them to ourselves! We think of the day ahead and the things that have to be done without thinking on this one more important thing...what can I do for my soul today? We do need to see who we are as we are meant to be...our true value as we were supposed to find in our lives. So that is the purpose of lives: to find our souls and enrich them towards the perfection they came from. To enrich others as well with our own blossoming lights. A good write to make people think on what is important as they move forward in their lives. Live...do as you must to survive...but grow inside and share that light with all you meet. Blessings!
You dig into your inner being with no effort because it comes so natural, always delivering what all of us humans could have - peace. Peace, never costs a dime with the heart in the right place.
You have reached the ultimate destination that many will never reach. You only have one job left, to pull more to the plateau that you have reached.
I love this poem, you made me smile because I was able to read another poem with a taste of hope.
just when you thought you've lived a wasted life, you'll figure out that you have your very soul as your wealth to save you. i like the idea of how you redeemed the 'persona' in the end. a very beautiful insight delivered cleverly, encourages readers to look deeper, to introspect and get themselves right with them... this is one of your masterpieces! :)
I really like this one. So many people, including me, have tried to change everything around them to fix their situation but ignore their own character as if they could not even see it.

Well delivered with much facination and excitement. Like a young child spying a golden glimmer on a rocky beach, we often fail to see how rewarding just finding our own inner soul can be!
Amazing!!
So true dude so true!!!
Money don't mean anything when ur not happy & faith (Beliefes) is a very important ingrediant to happieness. (bad spelling I know)
