The Burning SunA Poem by OrlandoOne more day, to live.
And I sit, the blazing sun
Burning all of me I hide in pain, nowhere to run I am now, not free. - And above, above them all Only when it's night, I see those burning, in the sky Millions, they're so bright. - And I sit, and ask the moon Why can I now rest? It sits there and very soon It is heading west. - And the burning doesn't stop Day and after day, And when eventually I drop South will be my way. - And when the burning of the flames What would I not give To look up, the blazing sun Just one more day, to live.
