A novel

Blank ideas brought to life by ink,

Form a page with ageless words.
A thousand words form a thousand worlds.

I feel the mark of a thousand souls on each page.
As I turn over, I feel free in a cage

The final words draw close.

And just before the end, a rose.

I haven't written anything in a while. I hope this was a pleasant welcome back for those who missed my poetry.
Also I mixed up the names of my poems

Emily Dickinson never traveled more than seven miles from her house...yet she traveled through other writers...and in her own work, sounded like she had been around the world.

Emily Dickinso wrote poetry that seemed to indicate she had traveled extensively. But the truth is she never got more than seven miles from her Father's House...as she called it. Her traveling was all through books.
