Artemisia

an alchemy to find an elixir
black-leggism to find the
gold in this elixir
arroding arrow-grass around the elixir
elixir is life
life is a rose-colored dandelion
it sprouts, climbs, entangles
like artemisia bitter and cruel.

its an archaic term cheating, swindling...a blackleg is someone who uses deception to cheat at card games, racehorses etc....been flipping through The Imperial Dictionary of the English Language...learning tons of words lol
