fallen sun

fallen sun

A Poem by Breathless
"

A tragic war story

"

when the sun rises

Till the sun falls

    A new soldier merely crawls

Into war

    In which may never end

From battle to battle

    To defend

As he walks

    Into enemie traps

He is ambushed

And wiped out of the maps

A lost soldier

    Never to be found

Forgotten in another nation

    Society is to blame

It's just not right

It's their fault he had to fight

The nation acts

    But does not think

for what they say

    Makes us sink

War is cruel

    And does not care

For what it takes

    Will make us bare

For when ever a soldier falls

    And can not fight

Another will take his place

And fight with all their might

When the sun rises

    Till the sun falls

Never will those poor soldiers

    See both at all

This is such a tragic poem. The last lines really stuck to me and made me keep thinking of what your poem really means. I don't know how you got so much hate for war, nonetheless the humans who forced to fight in them, but it is a very nice written work. I like the rhymes in the poem it makes it sound as if it is childish, yet it's actually like Chucky with a knife... Thanks for the poem it was great.

I like the logic of the poem. Always more Soldiers. Would be cool if one day Soldier would not fight? I like the logic of the poem.
