Here Nor ThereA Poem by Mr WhiskersA flurry of thought races like dry leaves through my mind Leaving a chill deep in my bones. Icy uncertainty, frost creeping as a thief stroking silence into the air. Tangled questions give no confidence to seek out any answers and promise to lend only more shadow in already layered darkness. Forest deep through which to wander, indecision portrays only unwillingness to let ignorance fall behind. How to make a path to light when understanding is the meek glimmer of moons behind storm clouds? Let the wall of shy smiles crumble- may the relieving breath of fresh friendship blow off the overcast night so I might journey to further knowledge, sate my thirst with cool clear surety. Ask of me what you will but let me mindlessly stroll in the dark no longer. Useless meandering is this; free my awareness of the bonds holding my soul, the barring of clarity.
