Dear Mr PolicemanA Poem by The Elusive Mr Dunne (Mr Dunne Poetry)Dear Mr Policeman"Dear Mr Policeman" Dear Mr Policeman, I need to ask you for permission/ To pen a couple bars, and not have to go craft back in prison I've been imbalanced since a kid, getting hit with precision/ Yet with every premonition, this is not what I envisioned I feel it's like Nuclear fission, being explained to the dumb/ Being I suffered prohibition, for what my family had done With this being the ignition, to the fire that was started/ Inside of a heart that won't die, til I'm departed I've been carted away by the law, & had a bar on my pen/ Which I use as a sword, for whenever the Lord says when And when the Lord says strike, I strike with such force/ All the while I'm hard to find, like my heart & remorse From being caught & the slipper, to going court for my rap/ Calling me a wannabe n*gga, now they call me in for rap A quarter black, is why they did, what they said that they didn't/ Anyway, less of the facts, hit me back, with a decision.
