The facts throughout History, ain't always what they seem/
Now I'm having visions of tyrants, & brutal regimes
Alexander the Great, & Ivan the Terrible/
Vlad the Impaler & Oliver Cromwell
The Roman Emperor Nero, & England's King John/
Ivar the Boneless, & the infamous Ghengis Kahn
The use of instruments of torture, that were commonly used/
For forgery & treason-and even Parricide's Doom
From the claw to the jaw breaker, the hook & the tongue tearer/
The head crusher & the cage, & the castrator for the genitalia
The clubbings & stoning, & casting out to exposure/
The hanging & beheading, at the orders of the inquisitor
Who got to decide your fate, whether you man, boy or girl/
From association with gypsies, or poisoning of a well
I hear the voices from this Hell, but all too much to digest/
Cause I can hear ripping & tearing, & the digging into flesh.

I have always found it humorous that the methods to expose "evil" are generally more evil than the deeds in question! it still goes on today but with words in "gentile" society and of course torture in your standard third world country.
