The electric box

The electric box

A Poem by Lid Man

In a cupboard under the stairs
Lies a box with many hairs
All those colours tied around
In white cables high off the ground
Gaz and leccy whizzing by
Both the services that we can rely
Making homes and offices shine so bright
And all those wires installed so tight
Tester meter checks the trips
Making sure the circuit trips
Here is my work today
Getting ready for the staff to play
Inside their building for homeless folks
A safe house made for laugh and jokes

This was a fuseboard I replaced friday saturday and today in total about 18 hours of my time to install all the new and existing wiring into the new supply
It's 3 phase 300 amps
