The Bed Jacket (the Final Buckle)

The Bed Jacket (the Final Buckle)

A Poem by Lid Man

The rapist lived in America cell
He thought it was a living hell
The guard did put him in a coat
They pulled buckle tight around his throat
The rapist was restrained to thwart his escapes
To protect those girls that reuben rapes

Oh gosh, a story within a short poem... Interesting that you wrote American cell.. wondering why?
I enjoyed the play on words and the easy flow of your words.. As I ended each line I was anxious to get to the next...
I have never read anything of yours and I of course wondering if this is the way you always write...in a rhymey way...sort of sing song... which makes it quite easy to read.
This is quite different from the way I write so I find it rather interesting...
Anyway, I will most definitely be checking in to see what else you have written...
I did really like these two lines...
The guard did put him in a coat
They pulled buckle tight around his throat.
Take care,
All my best,
