Blood can be anything you want it to be,
It can be the simple blood in your body,
it can be your connection with your family.

Blood can be anything you want it to be,
It can save someone's life ,
It can destroy another's.

Blood is unique as your finger print,
consists of so many things,
good and bad,
but in the end,
blood is blood.

what a profound statement. Blood is symbolic of so much for so many people, but it's all the same. For me, blood is about who you are. It's something we all share, as humans, animals, creatures of this planet. It's the reason we shouldn't bully, discriminate, or hate. this poem is simple but in a good way...so well stated...and so true.

it is more than just the blood...it is what it stands for...as said in the last line.."blood is just blood"

sort of like anything..it is only what we make of it.

we can attach meaning to anything...
