Personal belief

Rebirth is just coming back,
To fix things that have been
Left undone or broken
By the end of a journey ...
Some times to pay the dues,
Of love and lost connections.
Returning in which ever form
suits to get the job done!

I really like these words and thoroughly enjoyed considering 'Rebirth' which clearly reflects your personal beliefs and which are not too far removed from my own. for me this applies to all the opportunities we have in life to make amends ...to change for the better ...let things go...know ourselves more deeply ..know God ...all those things your poem mentions .... everyday those opportunities present themselves ... my belief is that death is permanent as far as this world goes ... so we differ a little on personal beliefs ;) i like how your poem seems to simplify things ..funnels thoughts into a very clear focus on the seriousness of choices .. tho you don't come right out and say it ... i like the bit of sarcasm in your closing ... as reincarnation does not necessarily mean another life as human ... could be squid ... or slug ;)) thought provoking poem .. enjoyed your "stuff"

Neville refers to you as sage, and I agree with him. Your observations and comments are always very profound. I think death is permanent as far as the physical form is concerned, but life.... the energy never dies. It enters or takes many life forms . According to Hinduism the final act of that energy when no longer needs to come back it units with cosmic energy or the God.

ahahahah sage indeed huh! :) old as one maybe ;) yes...i think Science, the Light and God are very close ...as this "energy" is ever present and present everywhere when one really gets down to it, says i! but we shall see one day right?!

we all come to this world for doing something great and if it's left then 'come again'..most of people believe that rebirth is only a curse..but I love your concept that it can be something different, for a pleasant cause as well..complete positive vibration..true..what could be more important than to return the dues of love! a very creative write..just beautiful
