O Night of Nights

Angels sing of virgin birth
Lo, the Christ child
Peace on Earth.

Mary sings a lullaby
To her baby
Hear her sigh.

Lowly shepherds come to see
A new king born
For you and me.

Cattle lowing
Soft lambs bleat
Magi gifts at baby's feet.

Hushed, the world
In wondering awe.
Christ, the lamb,
Fulfills the law.
