I Am Mom

In ten lines; this describes who I am as a person.

I am hated; then I am loved.

I don’t complain, I’m not allowed. 

I smile when I want to yell.

I laugh when I want to cry.

I hug when there are tears.

I kiss away the aches and pains.

I discipline the mind; mend broken hearts.

Until my death; I am responsible.

They are my future; they are my life.

Beautiful. There is "nothing" like being a mother. It's different than even being a father. I've witnessed your piece first hand. Son falls down..Mom, dashes to her child, Dad's say "Get up. you're ok." The emotion you put in this is ancient. Not that father's don't love, but there is something mystical about a Mother's love.
I want my wife to read this. I loved it. Rain..
