dear Kelly... Friends help us stand tall
and bind our hearts with inspiration as
the pages turn from season to season.
It is beautiful to have friends whom
we can lean on. truly... Pat

...that's what this is all about, Pat...thank you so much!
I think writers as well as readers alike can find this wonderful quotation as pure and true. Figurative bookends that serve to protect and hold us together, even when are about to fall like the Tower of Pisa.

What a line! Just like bookends, friends hold us up when we need the support. Love it, Kelly!!!! Lydi**

We landed about 3 pm. They jumped to when I told them it was Kelly!
I like this a lot Kelly. My take on it is that - we turn to the left;we see friends - we turn to the right;we see friends. What more could one want?

Thank you as always for the RR, Kelly
Happy Easter

Just perfect my friend!!! There is a great story within this line, to be told. And all our life experiences that our friends know, our adventures and our heartbreaks, are lined within the volumes of the books held by our friends. Hope you win!! :)

Hi Kelly. beautiful. beautiful in the sense of poetry and beautiful in sentiment. It is also so very true. Without friends what is there to enjoy in life??? My friends are bookends for me as I am for them, and I shall be telling them so, alf

reminds me of S&G...."old friends, old friends, sat on the park bench like bookends"

and those friends we keep for life, they keep us grounded.
