A Needle's Eye

 

She beseeched the night

to go passively,

to not allow his memory

to slip through her hands,

like a thread

through a needle's eye.

Holding on to those memories, and not letting them slip away. I loved the image of the time getting forced through the needle's eye, so it would slow down, and the thread that keeps it all weaved together in the mind.
