It is not in our plans to outlive a child, and when it happens, it is especially difficult. A few years ago a friend lost her son to cancer, I knew him when he was only two, when he died he left two young sons. We visited her about a year after she lost him. she shared the story and her grief with us one night, until dawn. It was one of the hardest things i have ever done, listening to her. So tragic and sad.

She was a rock for our friend.
We remain forever connected to those we love and to those who have touched our hearts. I love the echoed words in that silent cathedral and simply loved the song and pictorial accompaniments. A wonderful piece, Kelly!

Great work garners great attention... your work deserves such reception :)
i firmly believe that those we've loved are always with us.
this is both sad and comforting all at once. it's sad that we no longer have the physical presence of those who have passed; yet it is comforting to know that they live on with us, in another form.
This resonates with me tonight so damned much. So so so much.
Beautiful and tears.

It was like an intervention, telling me to put it there. I thought it fit perfectly. You are one of few that acknowledged it...I thank you for that, Brian!

Kidding, kidding. It most certainly does fit perfectly. Kinda shocked few mentioned the best part, Keep up the great work, Kelly!
I've been on... around your many poetic pages (poetry), but never read such deep & sadistic verses from you. I must say, it's a first time that I read something like that. so heartfelt. full of poignant drops of faith / love / belief & emotions. Kinda philosophical write, but seemed like a very soft / melody of art sung by you / written by you in such deep words...
... No love stays for long in life; no life lives for more; no heart dwells inside the duality of tranquility, but... every drop of tear; the wisp (a symphony) of cried heart; the hum of snoring voice & every tone of winds lives... in "The Remembrance" of "separations" (feelings of heart / memories of past). Nice imagery! Title's also seemed the one... belonged to its emotional softness. The "font" & its hazel "color" both're very nice & expressing the depth of your words through... from deep inside your page.
Beautiful song and the poem held a sad tone to me.
"when I know,
when I know,
you are here..."
Many types of separations. Some good and some bad. Thank you for the good song and the powerful poetry dear Kelly.
