I Bleed Muted Words

The Nightingale sings.

Its piercing shrill impales me.

I bleed muted words.

I would be lost if it were not for poetry! Thank you, Pat!
Can't say I fully understand what's going on here, but it seems to say a lot in very few words, and it certainly sounds nice; isn't this the definition of poetry?!

Oh, what inconsolable words, what heart-rending imagery. The melancholia of this piece has transfixed me too. Powerful write dear friend!

...you've single-handedly made my day! ..but then again, you usually do! ; )
Beautiful yet sorrowful senryu, Kelly... when a heart is broken even the sweet song of the nightingale is but a shrill reminder that love has gone... a wonderful write!

INTENSE! Few words with deep impact here, Kelly. To feel so dark that a nightingale's song impales you...

You are the nightingale who sings....knocking back into the light of loving feelings and whimsical proportions.
I am not sure if it is your phrasing, your simplicity, or just your essence that helps me remember .......but it works every time :)
