Morning Glory

Morning Glory

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

Asleep in my bed,

you’ll never know the love

and feeling

I have for you

yet,

I haven’t the heart

to awaken you from dreams,

to acknowledge the emotion

in so many words

Perhaps, when you awaken

I’ll tell you…

in the morning.
