I thought long and hard for a follow-up to my mom's '57 Chevy. Than it came to me, the music back then. The jazz, of Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald. My parents were both influenced by it, so I asked Alexa to play it for me...my, my, my. You ain't been blue till you've heard this song!

Fabulous pairing and Ella’s scat singing and interpretation of lyrics remain ace today. There will only ever be one Ella. You have captured a musical era for me with your words as well as bringing my parents back. Both lovers of jazz. A treat to read Kelly.

Hi Kelly... I love Jazz and all those singers, and it brings back an era for some of us older ones... your words are perfect... I could just listen endlessly....and die!!!!
Warmly, B
Great title Kelly and very relateable.
It made me think of music that totally gets inside of us and it wasn't long before gloomy Sunday by Billie Holiday found its way into my head and I can honestly see why that song hadls the nickname of the Hungarian suicide song. For someone to put so much of herself into that song is a true death indeed.
