Poetry is part of the beauty that is everywhere... Beautifully reflected here. So simply and elegantly stated...I was once a wood sculptor...wood and poetry are a part of my soul...

The photograph is such a nice touch and it's beautiful.
I love the quiet, meditative quality of this poem. The “stoic branches” against an “unfinished sky” create such a vivid, contemplative image, and I appreciate how you embrace minimalism..showing that poetry doesn’t need allegory or rhyme to evoke feeling. There’s a stillness and clarity here that makes the scene linger in the mind, a perfect example of how observation alone can be poetic.

I walk every day, mostly taking pictures of nature, and getting to know dog-walkers...and their dogs. It affords me a lot of time to reflect upon my life and gain some inspiration for writing. Life is good! Thanks, again!
Stunning Kelly - somewhere I hear Rooks and Crows calling in the margins of this Excellent piece. The Autumn Winds can be bitter indeed. Fabulous ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

What a majestic giant it was, profiling the sky. I miss its presence each time I walk past the void where it used to be. I feel lucky to have captured it in both art and poetry. Thank you, Tony!
really intriguing piece of work - although not written as separate stanza the relationship between the first four and last four lines and the inclusion of "no allegory & no thyme" is lovely paradoxical, like a verbal mobius strip - enjoyed this very much - carl
