Lovely, Kelly. I have a couple of poems that mention the lost art of a hand at the small of my back. Something about being guided so gently through a doorway stirs something in me. I agree, not enough forehead kisses. will read more.

For as long as I live, I'll never forget the image of his hand at her back. So romantic. Thank you for giving this one a read, Sarah. It's quite dear to me!
this is exceptional erotic writing. and ZI know of the things you speak. My father was a gentleman and taught me all the subtleties of differences in how you touch, shake hands, kiss, dance, touch. Your right its all a lost art because when I do these things, its rare that the female even knows the difference.

I first noticed the desperate need for shallow living in my students back in the nineties. A good example was this Senior who wanted to be a guitar player. He was always going on about how the guitarists of the sixties didn't use many chords, and they tended to strum rather than pick, and how he was so much faster. I tried to explain that speed was not the goal, touching the insides of the people who listened was what mattered. I played a couple of songs for him so he could see what passion felt like... "Nights in White Satin," "A Whiter Shade of Pale," and "Classical Gas." I said, "Go home and find out all you can about Michael Bloomfield and Super Session. He just couldn't get it... I gave up when even Cream's "Toad" couldn't break through. The lack of depth and rich thinking all throughout the last forty years tells me that Douglas Adams was right, if the Earth were destroyed, we wouldn't be missed.

Hi Kelly, just loved the way you created this piece....so delicious and soft and warming....and the ending so sensual...it lasts to me like a long guitar strum.... very subtle and sexy!
