Forehead Kisses

Forehead Kisses

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

forehead kisses

forehead kisses

have vastly become

a lost art

like a hand

firmly placed

to the small

of a woman’s back

like the syllables

of your name

lying in wait

upon my tongue.

Whenever I render you speechless I'm doing something good! Thank you, my Miller man!
Awaiting each motion. So seductive, to be yearned for. I really like the intrigue related to the lost art. Let us get it back!

Thank you, Brad! Good to see you this new year!
Beautifully understated — every line lingers and evokes such quiet longing. I could feel each gesture.

Thank you most kindly, Thomas! Happy New Year!
Lovely, Kelly. I have a couple of poems that mention the lost art of a hand at the small of my back. Something about being guided so gently through a doorway stirs something in me. I agree, not enough forehead kisses. will read more.

this is exceptional erotic writing. and ZI know of the things you speak. My father was a gentleman and taught me all the subtleties of differences in how you touch, shake hands, kiss, dance, touch. Your right its all a lost art because when I do these things, its rare that the female even knows the difference.

Interesting imagery in this one, especially in the last verse. Quite erotic for such a brief piece. Well done.
