Together

Together

 

This life is no longer only mine to live

There is someone out there who I must live for

And I will try my hardest to still be here

So when the time comes that we may be together.

And when that time comes, I will share her pain

I may not know her now, but in time I will find her

And in that time I will be ready to be her shield.

I will be her protection, from this world we call home

And within it we will forge a new home.

Together.
