I like Erykah Badu. When she first emerged it was refreshing and a unique style of music. Her voice is original and strong. I still don't understand the senyru and haiku, haha. I do like this piece. Well done.

I agree Erykah Badu is one of my favorite artists. From what I've read the two poems are similar in .. read moreI agree Erykah Badu is one of my favorite artists. From what I've read the two poems are similar in structure 5/7/5 but differ in theme haiku leans toward nature/seasons and a senyru are usually a about human foibles which I would use the definition of human foibles to be - a behavioral attribute that is distinctive and peculiar to an individual
