Shattered

Can't dream a lovely scene,

When the heart is broken.

Light was dim, grass not green,

The bolt of grief was open.

The lullaby sang,

Killed the rainbow.

Noah's rain, flooded pain,

A desperate tomorrow.

Can't paint a flamboyant view,

My muse is dead.

Lovely rose, heaven knows,

Now, I will paint death instead...
