Tears

Tears

A Poem by Mysty Rayn

I sit alone wanting to cry.

My tears would do me no good.

They are the same tears I always cry.

Lonely tears.

Absent tears.

Tears of fear.

Afraid to be alone anymore.

I miss what I don’t have.

I need what I know nothing of.

I can’t have what is right in front of me.

The tears begin to flow.

I saw the pool of tears right in front of me. Spent from the frustration of life. Makes you want to lift wet eyes towards the sky

The excitement of feeling fresh love is what you're missing, we all know what your missing, and long for as you do.

This piece is really great; it expresses a ton of emotion. And isn't that what poems are supposed to do? Express emotion and feeling?
Great work,
