which was it

which was it

A Poem by ɴᴏɪʀ ネス
"

she returned

"
she wore moonlight like a dress
how it gleamed across her smooth silky skin
black roses ashamed to bloom near her presence
the flush on her face drawing my breath closer
the world shrinking to the few feet around us
our shadows back to back, fingers interlaced
a silent confinement
