A Story by ɴᴏɪʀ ネス

wholeness is what is never attained
a dream of completeness that is never realized

the desire for wholeness
can be smothered, hidden
but never contained
it is like the sea that never ceases to crash against the rock
relentless, infinite, futile

i don’t know if I’ll make it
i don’t know how long I’ll endure
the anxiety of not being in unison with myself turns what’s already accomplished into a void
banished to a chamber meant to decay

and so i walk
in an endless pursuit
in a search that is, itself
the only possible wholeness
