blind melancholy

blind melancholy

A Poem by ɴᴏɪʀ ネス

i’ll fall in love with my own sadness before you
to confront the devil i know
rather than the devil i don’t know
in this safe haven i cling to
trading raw expression with a rotten if you could even call it a heart
navigating this emotional turmoil unguided
twisting and turning in a hazy smoke
before the road stretches out
and i crash into traffic
detached
