a night to remember

a night to remember

A Story by ɴᴏɪʀ ネス

They walked side by side on a beach
of their sins scattered amongst the sands

She let go in risk of judgment, letting go of her last one
an unbearable pain to surrender to

And in the wake of her feathers,
He kicked about the dunes and the dust

Flitting to the specks of white in the sky
both His and Hers

They sat a sunshine’s distance away on the beach of their sins scattered amongst the sands
They follow the one star, in its solitude
and embrace its warm glow
