Through good times and bad

Forever unbiased

Even when I have been happy or sad

 

You guided me through life

Lighting the path

Keeping me protected

Those against me feel your wrath

 

When I screamed and shouted

Curses in your name

You did not turn away

You didn't turn your back... you came

 

When you are with me

I am blissful and free

I shed tears in your name

You made me see

 

It is now my duty

To spread the word

About my god and friend

Really great and deep writing of how you feel about religion.. standing for what you believe in is very well-written and with a message of hope. It is really great that you don't need some giant flashing lights to indicate that such does exist.. acknowledging your pathway through life.. that this higher power has been there for you.. aided you throughout the good and bad! I loved the flow and feel of this... great work!
