My Avalon

My Avalon

A Poem by N.D. Reed

Avalon, that tranquil place;
Frozen in time.
Her waters are still with grace;
To deface her is a crime.

The beeeze yet keeps her still;
A fixed point in life.
The twilight on the hill;
With magic she is rife.

The morning toll and the evening bell;
She'll lift you when you fall.
That honest moat could keep out hell,
She'll answer any call.

Avalon, my special place; her body like a blur.
Avalon, that dearest place; she summons when you need her.

Ah, blessed Avalon; a place of legend, of mystery, and yes, tranquil and frozen in time for evermore.

Very lyrical write.
