I love the dual messages in this, and the wya you got those across. Such an interesting poem to look at. The kind of aside in the separated words made it seem like the speaker's thoughts. I don't know if that was intentional, but for my interpretation of this, it worked. (And I love that you know the word syntax. My teacher pounded things like that into me. I always find it strange when I meet people who don't know about that and how to use that to convey meaning.)
