Flneur.

Flneur.

A Poem by Natasha

She loves you

            Her breath

                        Her voice

                                    Her mannerisms

She is oozing and dripping, melting from the intensity of it all

Love                              consumes                            her

I love you  I LOVE YOU!

My whisper and her scream are lost.

I understand.

Let me take my leave as she binds you.

A funny little fantasy I’ll be…

Watching as you run;
The games you insist on playing.
Stop. Before you fall.

The form and title are very complimentary of each other. The way the first lines are laid out makes me think of a flneur who simply strides down a street, with these words running through their mind with each step they take. A slow gait, and then sudden epiphany and determined direction and the pace remains constant.

This was amazing! The format was so unique. I especially love the ending:
"Watching as you run;
The games you insist on playing.
Stop. Before you fall."

Beautifully written!
