Wasted life

A poem inspired by pastor John Piper's book 'Don't waste your life' and how I walked away from God only to find that without him life is wasted.

More than money 

More than gold 

I love you more 

than pennies cold. 

Caught up in draught

my soul in doubt 

Cause I walked away

from truth that day

But you never let me go 

and now in my heart I know 

More than money 

more than life 

I will love you 

For without you 

this is a wasted life !
