Despondent

DESPONDENT

I was wandering at night,

Thinking how you would be.

So many days have gone,

"Did you forget?”

You would ask me.

Don't you know? My words can't reach you.

Please be patient,

I always teach you.

I feel scattered,

Everyday a bit more;

I feel like a cold broken glass you know...

Another well written piece in which the poet talks to him/herself about his/her lover or beloved. I feel in this poem how a lover/beloved cares for his/her beloved in his/her absence. and how the poet imagines the present moment in absence. I enjoy it. Keep writing
