Living hell

LIVING HELL 

People ask me 

Are you fine?

Deep down I feel glad that they noticed and asked,

But I lie to them wishing I could tell the truth.

People ask me,

Where are you going alone?

Are you lost?

I tell I go wherever my feet takes me.

It is only when I am alone I can be who I am.

My nature could not be handled by them and so,

I feel lost in a world of people.

And so I feel I am a person walking alone.

I am lost in myself,

Everytime in my own world.

People had made me such,

Cause they make my life a living hell.

We all sometimes feel safe in hiding ourselves...we feel protected. We don't want to show our vulnerabilities. But the shell we form around us to hide ourselves blocks us from within and it becomes hell after sometime. This is really sad, Najam.

One of nice poem bases on the real experience of life with the people around you. You well penned the real habits of people. In fact when we are in grief and people ask us about my condition, it clearly indicate those people do not care for you, because our uneasiness condition make them happy eternally. the people, who care for you, do not ask again and again our condition ever but try to understand you better. A real friend and a person, who care for you much, do not tell that "I am your well-wisher our I care for you". It is a good poem on the first category of people that you have faced. I love it. Thanks for sharing keep writing.
