Rapunzel

Rapunzel

A Poem by Kiwi
"

I wrote this in what was apparently a silly mean streak.

"

I'm not sure where this came from.  I thinking I was typing up my AIM profile once and put down, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel..." and that's what followed in just a random moment of writing.  When I finished that stanza I grinned and cackled, wondering what the worst thing I could threat Rapunzel would be.  In the end I threatened to chop off her hair and, well, there goes her shot at Tila Tequila...I mean love.

Really has no reasoning, as I said.  Just a random poem.

---

Rapunzel, Rapunzel,

Let down your long hair.

If you do not,

I shall give you a scare.

I'll throw up some scissors

And hope that they land

With a delicate snip

On that small elastic band.

Your hair will all tumble

From that window way up high.

Triumph will please me

While your heart heaves great cry.

That's cute! The rhym fits with it quite well, it seems almost lyrical.

Very amusing. There weren't any grammatical things that I picked up on. I liked it, it's like a fairy tale gone slightly wrong, stupid princess can't always get her way, right?

Overall, well done!
