The Broken-Winged Dove

This is my second poem.. Though the writing is quite immature still now.. Yet I hope you enjoy reading. :) will come up with better writings in future! Happy reading :)

I will love you all my life
Will always be by your side
Without you, I am a broken-winged dove
A dove that cannot fly.

The time when I was torn apart
Unknowingly, you sowed your name in my heart
The seed of love I nurtured with care
Now with empty heart I cry in despair.

Uneasiness prevailed
I woke up in the middle of the night
The love I lost kept haunting me
Even in the hour of light.

Silent cries and mourning eyes
Life without you is like a beat less dance
I will never let you sulk again
Oh love, please give me another chance.

Though these words I write are few
They are my unspoken feelings for you
Knowing that they will never reach my love
Cause now you are my high endless sky
And I am the broken-winged dove
The dove that cannot fly.
