Orphaned

Orphaned

A Poem by Nanacreampie
"

I know this poem is VERY depressing. Please, do not judge my personality on this. I am really a very happy person. :)

"
Little Jane Johnson huddles tight in her bed,
Thoughts of love roll around in her head,
Thoughts of the family she'll never have,
Thoughts of the death of her mom and dad,
Little Jane Johnson is lonely in life,
Fighting the pain that cuts like a knife,
She'll never get hugs and kisses from mom,
Never hear speeches about just being strong,
Never know how to reach for the light,
Little Jane Johnson just died tonight.

Wow, this was sad. So true to reality, unfortunately, for so many of our young ones. I am not judging your personality :) You took a very painful part of life and turned it into art. That is a poets job. Very good read!
