Reach Me

Reach Me

This displays the true reality of long distance relationships ♥️

F**k

The pressure from my pulse drastically soars
The air space to exhale became miniscule
Microscopically small that all the tension bunched up in my chest
Hardens

The terror
Pure and unrefined horror hurled and leaped through me
Like uncontrollable currents
Unkempt tides

Just the figment of the thought of losing you
The uncharted possibilities of
Any of the billions of people on this earth
Could...whisk you away from me

Captivate you deeper than me
Suede you into believing that their grass is a forestry
Healthy, thriving flowers more brighter than mine

Picking up these thoughts are painful
They're full of spikes, poison and malice
They seep through my skin in hopes of deteriorating me from bottom to top

They start at my feet so that I'm too battered to come get you
They break me more so that I'm too weak to hug on to hope
Hope that... You will stay
Regardless of their prim and pretty gardens

You say I'm your one and only
But who am I, amongst all of them
Who can reach closer than I can
Step foot into the sacred ring of your presence
Be blessed by the lull of your voice and the blinding light of your smile
That keeps them warm

Your smile that... Has their delusional fantasies clapping their hands in glee
Their little hearts so easily filled with possibilities
And their hungry eyes like calculating arrow heads
Targeting you at gun point

F**k

I feel like screaming
Ripping my cotton covered chest and howling to both the moon and the sun
Because how dare
How dare you Universe, for choosing the bittersweet treat
A taste of heaven and hell
Contorting my celebratory dance as my moves slowed down
Then halting to a stop when I see how far he is

Far

And me
Here

So
I looked down at my form
Adorned in satin and velvets
Neck rimmed with jewels
Nails as dark as night

And I continued dancing because I am his woman
The title remained broadly on my shoulders like a cape
As I straightened my back, hoisted my head sky high
And with the sway of my hips that he fell to love
I declared my love through movement

All I can feel are those laser focused eyes on me
That blindingly bright smile my only spotlight
His heart beat thrumming into a melody for the
Pitter patter of my gold studded feet

Faster and faster, as the beat summoned me
Closer and closer, I could hear the message more clearly
I love you motho waka
I am in love with you sthandwa sam

Soaring, I am a destined shooting star and
Without thought, hesitation or fear
I landed right into his arms

Where Motho Waka belongs

The set of your words is passionate, full of rich expressions all of which match the adoration of and for your love... amazing writing!

HOPE to have a response. :)
